Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced professional to serve as a key business partner and subject matter expert in ERP project management, focusing on Capital Expenditure Lifecycle and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). This role involves leading process discovery and design workshops, providing strategic oversight for reporting capabilities, and ensuring smooth project implementation and system upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to support data management, testing, and user training.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
- Background in managing complex systems projects, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and problem-solving
- Experience leading process discovery and design workshops for SAP portfolio and project management solutions
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori, SAP PS, and PPM
- Familiarity with industry practices in transportation
- Strong technical writing skills
Responsibilities:
- Act as a business point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for the project, with a focus on Capital Expenditure Lifecycle and PPM processes within ERP systems.
- Lead project coordination, data management, testing, and support for PPM subsystems; assist with implementation and communication plans and update relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic oversight for business reporting requirements, working with IT and Master Data teams to develop efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and system integrators to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities for strategic, operational, and decision-support needs.
- Support data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation for project activities.
- Participate in all project testing phases, documenting gaps, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist with cutover activities and provide post-go-live Hypercare support.
- Document workflow processes and partner with IT teams to implement complex workflows within ERP systems.
- Identify training needs, conduct initial and ongoing user training, and develop user guides and documentation.
- Ensure modifications and upgrades are tested thoroughly before deployment to the live environment.
- Support best practices for system and process change management, including documentation and standardization of workflows and business practices.
